Our Story

A Legacy of Care

In 1996, Jolene Dalluhn and Debra Kamka met while working at a local addiction treatment center. Both Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors with master’s degrees in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, they shared a passion for helping adolescents and their families navigate the challenges of delinquency, substance use, mental health issues, identity struggles, and life transitions.

Driven by their commitment to keeping youth on a positive path toward their future, Jolene and Deb sought to not only treat substance use but also prevent it through education, outreach, and opportunities for youth to engage in pro-social activities that build confidence and self-worth.

In December 2002, their vision became reality, and just a month later, Quest Counseling and Consulting, Inc. opened its doors in Reno.

As Quest grew, so did its impact. In 2005, the organization relocated to 3500 Lakeside Court, where it expanded its services to include adults with co-occurring disorders—offering dedicated and distinct treatment approaches for both adolescents and adults. By 2006, Quest became state-certified for its comprehensive services, reinforcing its commitment to high-quality, individualized care.
