Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Reno, NV

Comprehensive Support for Co‑Occurring Mental Health & Substance Use Disorders (18+)

Adult group therapy session, Intensive Outpatient Program

Quest Counseling's Adult IOP provides structured, evidence-based treatment for adults who need more support than traditional weekly therapy, but don't require inpatient hospitalization. Our Reno-based program is designed for individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use challenges, offering intensive care while allowing clients to remain connected to their daily lives, families, and communities in Washoe County.

What is an intensive outpatient program (IOP)?

An IOP is a structured level of care that combines group therapy, individual counseling, and psychiatric support — typically several hours a week — for people who need more than standard outpatient therapy but less than 24/7 residential treatment. At Quest, our Adult IOP is one part of a full continuum of care, so clients can step up or down in intensity as their needs change.

Admission requires a completed clinical assessment, which may be completed internally or provided by an outside clinician. We accept evaluations from other providers.

Programming is open and rolling, allowing clients to join as space becomes available. Contact our team to discuss referrals, assessments, or program availability.
